WordPress on “R!YA”

Hey guys,

Yeah ! Geeky stuff again !! So its been long time I was thinking wats the best way to setup a local blog, No No blosxom is too old, Its Web 2.0 Era. So I thought of installing and running a local copy of WordPress which I heard so much about.

R!YA is my PC’s Hostname. Hence The Title.

The count of people claiming to me that a blog is not as good as a diary when it comes to privacy had reasonably gone up, I think this should be a solution as your blogs are not leaving your harddisk and not setting a single foot on the Internet. So before I tell you the easy way to install a local wordpress and use it, let me show you something. Watever one says, Beauty is ir-replaceable and hence I was impressed with themes available for WP. Here are a few I tried…
