as me and pradhee walked back from Main gate to OBH after paying a son of a <beep> 40 bucks for cutting our hair like WTF?? at Indra Nagar, on our way via library we saw something which reminded me of one of the two most exciting durations of my stay at IIIT. Yeah, its the “Interaction period” for the ppl of 2nd and 3rd year, its a bit of ragging / a bit of masti for 4th years, its Ragging for my batch and yeah its Hard Core ragging for my senior batch. Can you see the pattern ?? I can.
Hence,

XOR == Xcitement of Ragging

As I said, it was one of the most exciting time for me here, both when I was in first year and was on the Fked up side (it rocks) and in my second year when I was on the other side of the line (and gt fked again. Why ? Grrrr, but thats ok no regrets). Being in a school in North India and knowing abt ragging prepares you for facing the most drastic and threatening time of your life. It gives u stamina to face the worst and intelligence to answer the best. I believe its in the seriousness of the situation that makes it perfect. No doubt we had awesome time during those 3 weeks of interaction with my seniors. The pattern I mentioned above is not the pattern of how much the seniors njoied ragging the juniors, but its the pattern where how productive, interesting, Novel and caring seniors acted. I dont think any of the juniors feel the way we feel about our seniors and what is worse is none of the 3rd years might feel 10% (for some of them its 10% of quality sometimes its 10% of ppl ) of that for their seniors. Dont mind guys but thats true.

Generally ppl when they join the college think that staying out of the eyes of the seniors for first 1 month is the key to success. To be frank let me tell you the case at our college. No body gives a rat’s ass if u dont want to talk to them. Yes thats true, this is no place where ppl want to have that interaction as a “frustration removing toolkit” NO ok may be sometime when they fk up their “Theory of Computation” exams but otherwise forget it. In fact the truth is, that 1 month is the only time when you will be able to talk to 50% of the ppl interested in talking to you becos they will back to their daily schedule once the heat is gone and you mite not be able to get involved with them because hello u dont know them. Again just to mention this is no hard and fast rule and its not like NONE of my juniors or sub-juniors dont have a bond with us its just that the thing is loosing its importance. I still remember Parry Sir, Darbari and Jaganathan (J. LO) were the toppers of their batch at the time when we joined and they were at the 3rd floor without fail. Why ? to chk if the ppl they caught yesterday are done with the programming assignments they gave them… an interesting story here

About the time when I was in the ruling party, hmmm quite interesting, just after a week’s interaction a gang of 9 ppl were picked including me, Jain and Akansh to represent the most deadly, life-taking, bloooody and dreadful ragging ever done at the college (screw it). I still think that was just a way to end it all, nice work DIS-CO. Nothing ever resumed at the same level as it was and thats that.
ok enuf there is whole lot on this, but got to stop riting and start acting for today’s schedule. To end it, I still rmr wat Darbari sir said when he came to know that we are supposed to appear in front of DIS-CO, he said “We are always ready to stand up for our juniors”.

Juniors :: Tatta, HImanshu, Dash, Jaiswal, Sanchit, Gunjun, Balak (Arun), Rana, Manish, IV, T3, Tipo, Freaky, Trappy, Aziz, Neeraj, Anirudh, Monga….. Dhruvan, Rathi, Varun, Dinkar, Ruhela, Joy is thats it …. will add if i rmr any more.

Try to make the best out of this time, it teaches you a lot of stuff…..

Yeah Baby….

Its on … the gAMe is on ….

Today morning when I woke up I knew something was odd, I constantly had this feeling something terrible is going to happen. When I got out, I found that my Google home page was correct about the weather forecast, there were winds at 20Km/h. But something bigger was waiting …. yeah France beat shit (who cares how they played ) out of Brazil which actually killed all my happiness for Portugal playing better than England not exactly killed but well yeah overruled. So with a aim of reading a nice blog which will report on both the matches I went to the blogroll link but alas those who watched the second game must be sleeping rite ??…..hmmm

So I wasnt exactly watching any matches yet, was just following everything through the google homepage and ppl who actually visually watched the game. Last nite me, A and P reached Bombay blues at around the time when England – Portugal game just resumed after the half time. At Euro 2004 I really liked watching Por play as in its kewl to go with them…..so yesterday I was like if they win I dont have a problem becos the rest of the crowd there, was definately supporting England. All through the game there was just one request from England … Pls pls dont let us into next round we suck … we suck … Crouch missed a close one or rather the save with head was awesome and then another guy missing a clean hit…. both Robinson and Ricardo had a blast with beautiful saves all throughout the game…. Ricardo saved record 3 penalties.

Secondly I didnt watch the game b/w Brazil and France may be fuzzy will rite about it, but the thing is I m back to watching football so I have decided I am going out to watch the finals at twister or some place although semis can be watched in NBH …. With that goal from Henry now Klose and Henry tied for the Golden shoe?? (not sure) (5 goals) with 2 games ahead for both yeah yeah who knows if its 2 or 1 …. may be Portugal will beat France ….No More Predictions…..btw the brutal death of fuzzy’s predictions here
